Ethan's P.O.V

With the threat that faced me clearly neutralized, I turned my attention to the rogue settlement before me. I knew if this was where Logan was held, Axel would be there which meant the place would be under strict watch too.

I slowly inched closer and closer to what appeared to be a cave and at the same time making sure to approach downwind so I wouldn't be smelt out.

Once I inched just a little closer I could hear the rogues and smell them clearly but besides the rogues stench, I perceived Logan too!

I hastened my speed and approached faster, momentarily allowing my feelings to take the better part of me as I stepped on a few broken twigs on the forest floor. The cracking of the twigs wasn't that loud but to a werewolf it was loud enough.
