Aurelia's POV

Liam… was here. He was slowly panting with his eyes glued on mine. I couldn't move a muscle. I could only stare in shock at the sight before me. The sound of his pants was a constant reminder that this wasn't a dream.

But how could this happen? How was he here?

My wolf flipped with joy as she stared at him, wanting to push me to take a step forward. The rush of forgotten emotions slammed into me.

I could barely hold myself back now. I staggered back, trying to walk away from the grip my emotions were trying to put me in.

My heartbeat soon matched his pants and when his chest fell with deep breath and he opened his mouth, as if to call my name, my common sense kicked in.

I turned the other way and I made a run for it.
