Liam's POV

She continued to make me swallow that horrible thing but each and every time, she never brought something sweet. But why would she? She was already here, wasn't she? That was all the sweetness I needed. The way she came apart so easily in my arms was sweet enough and her moans too… no doubt, Aurelia had put down her guard around me.

She was more enthusiastic to see me and I wondered if she even knew she was making it so obvious and not just the way she responded to our love making, I could see it in her eyes and even the way she spoke.

Her tongue that was once sharp and accusing was now calm and soothing. She was much calmer now and gentler. She was the same Aurelia I knew back in Purple Sun City.
