Chapter 149

Aurelia's POV

"You shouldn’t be here," Liam said as I approached his cell. I wasn't even there yet and he could already smell me. He was right. I shouldn't be here today. He already successfully filled me with his scent yesterday. It should be at least another three days before I come back looking for more.

I squeezed the bottle containing the Algereiz plant, reminding myself that I was here because of this and not for anything else.

I guess the self reminder was too late. I was already blushing. It wasn't my fault. My thoughts had dropped into the mud when I thought of how 'successfully filled' I was.

"I wonder what this is about," I heard him mumble before I stepped into his cell. His eyes were already glued on me while I stared at everything else- like his hands for example. It looked painful-

"It's okay," he said. "I can barely feel a thing now. They've gone numb," he chuckled like it was supposed to be funny. "But of course, you're not concerned, only curious. That's a new trait.
