Aurelia's POV

She returned sooner than I expected and even better, she had extracted the juices from the plant and all I had to do was give some to Liam. He should have enough strength for the next couple of days and if I continued to feed him with it, he might be able to break out of here and escape.

Hopefully, he would state what he was here for.

I thanked her and dropped the bottles on my bedside table.

But if Liam were to leave faster than I planned, what would happen to me and his child? Shouldn’t he take responsibility for his son too? Was he going to make me go through this--

"Shit. He doesn’t even know," I rubbed my head. "Why am I getting all mad?" I asked myself and stepped outside for a walk. It was a warm afternoon and I took a stroll in the garden where Maggie and I used to spend most of our time.

The garden looked well taken care of- of course, I didn’t expect the place to suffer in my absence. Someone else would have been assigned to it.
