Athena’s POV

I had no choice but to talk to him because he appeared frustrated by the way I had been treating him. I groaned and moved closer to my door, opening it. I went in first, and he followed. I sat on my bed while he stood at the door frame, his gaze on me, but mine on everything but him.

“I am sorry,” he said, and I sneered, how dare he think a simple “I am sorry” could solve anything, I have been in this pack for almost two months now, and yet he hides something contentious like this from him, he was never true with me, to begin with, and I don't know how I was going to get through this? I didn't know how I was going to forgive him; I expected him to say more than “I'm sorry,” but he didn't say anything else.

“Are you going to say a simple sorry and everything will be fine?”I questioned, and he squeezed his eyes tight, and I saw him breathe hard before exhaling.
