Chapter 19: A Great Time

Athena’s POV

My smile matches the sun's, its glorious rays pouring down to the earth as I kneel to select some flowers for my herbs, and I am happy to announce that I have learned a lot that will aid me throughout the years.

“Let me help you with that, you shouldn't kneel too much because of the babies,” Maya said, and I chuckled. I had been due for a week and my babies had refused to come out of my belly, but I wasn't in pain because I wanted to hold them tightly to myself for as long as I could before finally letting them come into this world.

“I can do it, believe me,” I said with a chuckle. Maya, on the other hand, insisted on holding the bowl in which I was collecting the flowers.
