When I arrived at her apartment..I saw three huge men. they seemed from my world. When they saw me, they stopped?

That's when my eyes moved to Billie lying on the floor unconscious..i grow so angry that light began to come out from my body. And the atmosphere became tensed. 

And due to that, they began burning as they turned to dust instantly..I came back to normal. This happened within seconds. The time in the supernatural. From what my dad told me. Is faster than the time in the natural..i.e. One day there can be equivalent to 20days here.

I told Billie to breath because she seemed suffocated as she breath hard. then her breath went down gradually.

i carried her in my arms and I drove her home. The 3 gourds I gave for her were sacked by me. 

I called my dad to come over. Cause I couldn't leave the house even though there were other guards at home with her. When she woke up, I felt relief but remembering what she did, I was mad and couldn't face her. So, I was about leaving when she asked me that question (chapter 28). I froze as she asked again.

"It is right?" I turned around and looked at her and said

"It's complicated. You wouldn't understand" she looked at me in disbelieve and said

"Are you kidding me!?...tell me who in his/her right senses will see those unhuman creatures and still be here. And how come you survived. Cause they almost killed me. And you stand there and tell me i

wouldn't understand!... Then make me understand!" I came closer to her and said.

"There more you try to understand when you don't have what it takes to understand. The more your life is in danger. And the reason why

you're still here right now, it's because you don't have a choice. if you go out there unprotected or sealed, you're a living cop. The enemy is out there roaring looking for who to devour.. you don't get to know the truth if you're not prepared to put it to practice..and you can't put it to practice if you don't understand." she lifted her eyebrows for a moment and said

"You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free. So, how are these words you're saying right now helping me!?"

"That only applies to someone who understands. You can know the truth for so long but never understand. In the same way knowledge becomes power until it's put to practice... means you can have the knowledge but can't put it to practice. And that can only happen if you don't understand the knowledge. Until then, it becomes a mystery to an outsider. And you're an outsider." I said and she furrowed her brows saying

"Who are you?" I stayed silence. and said afterwards

"Billie. You've heard and seen enough for today. Take a rest. My dad will be coming over soon" she looked away from me facing the roof and started saying like I wasn't even present

"All this while I've been living with a total s t r a n g e r. What if he kills me? Alright I'm finished. This is the end for me. I'm sure he called his dad over to rid of me (sobbing)." she's actually crying. Is she kidding!

"Billie. BILLIE!... stop pretending as if I'm absent. I'm standing right here. few meters from you. And stop those crocodile tears. Because if I had to kill you..I could have just left you die there. you should think that." I said and she stopped. After which I left. 

I went to the living room and found my dad sitting on the suffer.. when he saw me, he got up nervously and said

"Where is she?" I looked at him confused and said

"She's in her room...and she's better now. She just needs

a lot more rest... Why are you being so nervous dad?"

"Common Son. Who wouldn't be nervous in a case like this? what would you tell her parents if something happened to her?" he said

"Okay. You know nothing can ever happen to her as long as

she's with me. And please don't tell mum about this." I said and he just nodded

"And tomorrow, I won't be coming to work. I'll work from home" I said

"Okay. Just notify me if anything." he said and I just nodded. After which he left.

 At Guarans' place

I and Scot were called by the head of Guaran to their hidden place this afternoon and he said this.

"I called you two here. to let y'all know that. some gods have been sent from the Supernatural to get away with Adrian and Billie... they actually came to attack Billie this morning when I sent my men to spy on her. Since y'all were wasting time. And he told me what happen. It was unbelievable how Adrian have such power that, only his transformed presence killed those gods. So, I want y'all to be careful not to make a move on her now." the head of Guaran said.

Is that why Brooke went to Arians place in such a rush. I'll ask him when I return.

I arrived home that day and meet Brooke home already..I said

"what was the rush about to Arians place?" he shrugged and said

"It was. Just about business. was it obvious I was rushing?" 

"Here very obvious." I said moving away. I know it had something to do with what the head of Guaran told us.
