Chapter 19

Ember woke up sweating like crazy. She looked at her right side and she noticed that Axle was still sleeping. She looked at the clock on the wall and she noticed that it was only 2am, it was still dark outside. It was her nightmare again. It kept coming back over and over again. The last time she had that dream was when she was ten years old and for those nightmares to come back now meant something.

She quietly got up from the bed because she did not want to wake Axle up. She walked towards the small fridge that was at the corner of the room near the door. She opened it and she took out a bottle of water and she drank half of the water and then she put the bottle back in the fridge. She then walked to the balcony to get some fresh air and maybe try to forget about the bad dream.

She looked up at the sky that was filled with stars. She closed her eyes and then she took a deep breath. The cold breeze made her body shiver, she was only wearing a short-sleeved knee length night dress. "B
