"Why did you open the windows so early in the morning and in such weather?" Ember asked, pulling the blanket over her head. It was -5°C outside so it was too cold for her liking.

"Early? Honey, it's almost noon." Royal said with a slight chuckle.

"But it's still fucking cold, close the damn windows. Do you want me to die because of the cold?" She asked.

"So what do you plan on doing? Sleeping for the whole day? You have to try on the dresses today to find the perfect one to wear at Karen's party tomorrow night." He said. Ember pulled the blanket off her head, she quickly sat up on the bed.

"Why didn't you tell me?" She asked, getting off the bed quickly and she ran to the bathroom, Royal followed behind her.

"You knew."

"Yes, but I forgot. You should have reminded me, you know that I have to find the perfect dress and I need time for that, I still have to pick the jewelry too." She took out her toothbrush from the bathroom cabinet.
