Chapter 45: The Ghost of Past

Ryne probably mistook me as my sister. Well, I get that a lot to the point that I feel sick about it. Living in someone else’s shadows was like suffocating me, especially if that person was already dead.

“The kids surely enjoyed the sightseeing,” Olivia said as Ben parked the car in front of Tyga's apartment.

“They have never been to such places, Oli,” I replied and then looked at the two men sitting on the driver seat and passenger seat. “Ben, Aries, you two can go to bed. We’ll be fine here,” I commanded the two warriors who seemed to be exhausted.

“Yes, Luna,” they both said and bowed before leaving.

“Mommy, can we come back again tomorrow?” Eion said and smiled at me.

“No, baby. We have already accumulated 3 days of vacation,” I replied and tickled him.

Olivia and the kids were the first ones to enter the apartment as I was picking all the souvenirs that I bought for my kids.

As I closed the van and about to turn my heel to the direction of the door, someone called my name.
