"Yeah. Haven't you always wanted to marry Evan? You guys have been together for three years now, and your relationship has always been stable. It's almost time for you two to graduate, so your father and I figured we would buy your marital home before the price skyrockets," Mom said.

"Wait!" I was dumbstruck. Did she just say I've always wanted to marry Evan? I was about to refute her when an arm wrapped around my shoulder and pulled me aside.

I turned to meet Evan's eyes, which were curved into half-moons from his smile. He said, "Got it, Mr. and Mrs. Rhode. We'll be back after our finals; you guys don't need to worry about Giselle. After all…"
