A WEEK LATER

The guard rushed to the door and opened it for me and Sally to climb down. Sally held my hand and behan to lead me into the mansion. My dad also climbed down from his car and tried to hold me.

"I can do it," Sally insisted.

"Let me hold my son," my dad argued.

She stared at him and forced a smile.

"I promise you, I can take care of my husband."

My dad stayed back outside as his phone began to ring, while Sally and I continued.

When we entered the sitting room, Beverly rushed towards us with her arms spread open. Sally gently pulled me back and obstructed Beverly from hugging me, which made me chuckle lightly.

"Why haven't you moved?" I asked her.

"I do not like the house that you rented. I just want to give birth to my baby in a comfortable environment, I'd leave after I give birth."

Sally pulled me away from Beverly and led me upstairs.

We walked into my room together, and while Sally went to instruct the maids on what to make for me
