SALLY

I wondered why Mr Grande was so rude to Mrs James. I knew the two families were in a competition for power, but that wasn't enough reason for him to react that way.

Well, Mr. Grande was a terrible person, so it was normal for him to do terrible things.

"I just came to..."

"You don't have to be here, Diane," he said to her harshly. "Your husband and your son, James, needs you better. Go to them and stay away from me and my family."

"But.."

"No buts!" Grande lifted his hands in the air.

"You should have appreciated my presence first," she said sadly. "What is wrong with me coming to pay a visit to..."

"Don't you dare!" Grande vibrated.

Diana turned to Alex with a pleading glare. She was obviously expecting him to speak in her favour or plead with his dad to let her stay.

I also stared at him expectantly.

"You heard my dad," Alex said in a tone that was rather too calm. "I think it would be best if you'd leave."

She nodded, inhaled sharply, and walked away,
