Amelia's heart lifted as she arrived at Perry's house. It had been far too long since she had seen her friend, and she was looking forward to catching up.

Since her marriage to Andrew, Amelia had lost touch with Perry. Perry had always been a constant presence in her life.

She stepped down from the car and walked up to the door, her spirits lifting with every step. When she knocked, she could hear the excitement in Perry's voice as she called out from inside.

"Ame! It's so good to see you!" Perry exclaimed as she flung the door open, pulling Amelia into a tight embrace.
