Adam's POV

"It's late Mr Stone," Lillian groaned, pushing the door to my office, a tired look on her face. "I could swear I have been pushing buttons around forever!" 

"You can leave if you want to Lillian," I told her, tearing my eyes off her disgruntled face and focusing on the market analysis before me. I had so many projects on the line, but the market didn't seem like it would get any easier to understand. 

I could see the worry etched on Lillian's face as she hesitated by the door. It was clear that she wanted to leave, but duty kept her rooted to the spot. Not that I wanted to keep her here any longer. But the stocks, and I needed important files that only she could access because she had arranged them in the first place.
