Chapter Forty-Two - The Plan

"So, as we were saying,..." The doctor began, in a husky voice.

He adjusting his glasses to get a clearer view of me.

"Now, he's gone, we have almost the whole day to ourselves," he said, grinning happily.

"Yes doctor," I returned the smile, anticipating for what next he wanted to say.
