Chapter Forty-Five - Lovely Husband

It was morning already, the next day after my wedding. Smiles from the joy of the previous day were still radiant on my face. I was effulgent and so was my day. It was indeed a beautiful day for me.

I woke up rather later than usual today and even when I did, it took me hours to get up from bed. I lowered my gaze to my huge tummy, I smiled at it, as I reminisced about how it came about, my thoughts trailing back to my encounter with the doctor.

"I really need to reward him some more," I said to myself.

I then looked around the room, Ben was nowhere to be found. I stood up immediately, in shock of his sudden disappearance and bolted out of the room quickly.

I took quick steps down the stairs and got to the living room in no time. I still couldn't find him there. The kitchen was the next place in mind. As I strode towards the kitchen, I whiffed the aroma of sandwich fillings that emanated from the kitchen, spreading gradually into the entire air. It smelt really delicious.
