Chapter Forty-Eight - 'We Lost Him!'

I was heavily pregnant for my child. My delivery time approached quickly. All I could do was watch and wait for the arrival of my little angel.

Ben and I have long ago decided on what to name our child. If it were a boy, he would be named Benjamin and if a girl, she will be Mia, we decided.

Ben also bought baby items and clothings for both genders alike, some months ago, per adventure it turns out to be either of them. I was happy and played along, although I felt somewhat guilty too.

At first, we hadn't any foreknowledge as to the gender of our unborn 'child,' because the doctor advised that it wasn't easily fathomable at the early stages. He obviously said so in a bid to align to the plan. He was so tactical. I loved what he was doing.

After we faked the ultrasound results, the doctor thrust it to Ben and said,

"Here is the result. We're expecting a baby boy soon!" The doctor spread the good tidings.

"Yes! I knew it! I knew it would be a male child!" He threw his clenched fists in
