Chapter Thirty-nine

Her Point of View.

"Nice house."

Puri niya. Of course, it's nice because Lor made it sure that the house should be nice and beautiful.

"Thanks. Coffee?"

I handed him his coffee at kaagad niya namang tinanggap saka inamoy. Ngumiti siya.

"Ugh! I really did miss your coffee."

"Yeah. It's all over your face."

Tumawa siya. We're sitting on my couch while staring at each other. Nasa isang mahabang couch kami at magkaharap habang parehong may hawak ng kape. Uminom lang siya ng kaonti at nilapag sa malapit na center table ang kaniyang kape.

"But I miss you more, of course."

Tumaas ang isa kong kilay sa sinabi niya. Honestly, the reason why I agree to meet him is because I want us to talk. Tumikhim ako.

"Carriuz.. I want us to talk."

"Yeah. We really should."

Nilapag ko sa center table ang kape at matamang nakatingin sa kaniya.

"Alam ba ng asawa mo kung saan ka papunta? Did she know about me?"

Umiling siya.

"No. Of course not."

I sighed. As I planned it.. magiging kabit nga ako ng isang bilyon
