AIDEN'S POV

I haven't really been in a good mood since last night. It wasn't just because of Mia's statement to me last night. It had nothing to do with her.

I know it must have been hard for her to date someone like me. Someone who has refused to talk about his past. She has every right to know but for now, my past is the last thing I want to think about when I have a bigger problem at hand.

I hated that I snapped at her last night but that wasn't entirely my fault. I was frustrated already and she just added to it at that moment.

I mean, I just found out that I have a killer living under my roof. I knew she was worried about me, especially since I refused to speak so much to her or anyone else at that. What would have become of me if she had died in my house?

I wanted the search to be over. I don't want anything to get past me. If there is anyone still hiding in my property or if our conversations are bugged. Aside from the people Jordan got for me to help out, I had also gotten
