Chapter Twenty Nine

Rosalie had an elusive quality that escaped my understanding. Yesterday, she rejected my explanations, accusing me of turning our children against her. However, today, witnessing her joyfully playing in the park with the kids brought me immense happiness.

This morning, I discovered aspects of her I hadn't bothered to learn in the past seven years. I shared details about myself, and she was surprised to find out we had attended the same university without ever crossing paths.

"Mr Vasanten, can I join you?" Alissa Dawson asked.
