Rosalie

Despite my anticipation that my decision to move back to Aldovia would be greeted with enthusiastic cheers from my children, I received no such response from them. Instead, they looked at me as if I had spoken in an incomprehensible language, causing my heart to sink to my stomach.

"Kids, what do you think?" I asked them. "We'll be closer to daddy if we move back to Aldovia."

"But we won't live with him in his house." Maya frowned. "That is what we want."

"Isn't it enough that I agreed to relocate?" I tried to conceal my growing frustration. I glanced at Adrien who was just quietly watching us. "Won't you say anything?" I demanded.

"Like what?" He lifted a shoulder in an innocent shrug.

"I don't know, back me up on this?" I asked. "This is what you wanted, right?"

"Yeah, but you already said no and I put it out of my mind." He replied. "Look, Rosalie, I'm not going to force you into doing this if you don't want to. Don't even do it because that's what our children want.
