Chapter 42: Suspicious

A loud gasp reverberated in the room as Daisy stood frozen upon seeing the scene in front of her.

“What the heck?!” she screeched so loud which made Margaux retreat and look in her direction.

“Didn't I tell you not to follow me?” she glared at her cousin.

Daisy pointed at their direction with a horrified look. Her eyes felt sore looking at their provocative position.

“You're drunk! Get off him now and I'll take you home!” she ordered and immediately called the bodyguards outside.

“No! I'm not done yet!” Margaux said stubbornly.

Daisy's eyes went wide as saucers as she stared at her cousin incredulously. “What?!” she breathed.

But Margaux didn't respond and just shifted her gaze back at Hendrix who was too stunned to speak.

“Don't mind her,” she chirped, then slowly snaked her arms around his neck and kissed him once again.
