Chapter 46: Solution

“Mr. Simon,” Daisy greeted.

Margaux watched her cousin intently as the latter called the guy whom they just met at the banquet. With cold hands, she tapped Daisy's shoulders to get her attention but her cousin just ignored her.

“I think this is a bad idea,” she muttered at the same time the guy from the other line spoke.

The speaker was on, that's why she was able to hear it. But as soon as she heard his voice, her chest pounded rapidly. She was nervous not because of him, rather she was scared about her cousin's plan.

Daisy shook her head while giving her a warning look. She then smiled widely as if the person on the other line could see her.

“This is Daisy Hermani. I'm sorry for my unexpected call, Mr Simon. But I hope I didn't disturb you..” she said softly.

“Daisy?” Mr Simon replied.

“Hhm. I'm Margaux's cousin,” she chirped. “I know you're a busy person Mr Simon, so I won't beat around the bushes. I called because my cousin badly need a helping hand”

Margaux gasped on the si
