Chapter 49: Call

Hendrix was fuming mad.

He threw Margaux a deadly glare as he stood there panting.

“Are you really going to flirt with him in front of me?” he spat.

His face was red as his blood was boiling. He couldn't believe that the woman he thought was demure and only had eyes on him was being cozy with another guy before his eyes.

‘Did she forget that she's still married? Although she used a fake name in their marriage certificate, she couldn't deny that her presence alone in the ceremony was enough evidence that they got married for real!’ he thought to himself.

Meanwhile, Margaux slowly turned to him with raised eyebrows, “What if I am? I'm single. I can do whatever I want, Mr Mondragon,” she smirked.

It made him angrier. “You're single?” he hissed. His ruthless eyes glimmered as he turned to Jack. “Do you know that she's a liar?”

He shook his head.

What a pretentious woman she was. She lied about her identity to him, and now she was lying to a different guy again. What would she gain
