Chapter 275: Ghost

Margaux cursed internally while her eyes followed the van. She threw a deadly glare on it out of fury before her gaze shifted back to the black car.

Her excitement surged up as she expected to finally be greeted by the whole appearance of the guy. But her shoulders shrunken and her excitement instantly disseminated when she saw no one in there.

She looked around the parking lot as her eyebrows deeply furrowed. “Where is he?” she muttered as she searched for that guy.

He can't possibly disappear that fast. That guy just stepped out of his car so there was no way that he already entered the restaurant that quickly. He can't teleport, could he? And even if he ran away, she should’ve noticed it since it did not take the van a minute to block her view.

Shaking her head, her eyes wandered around inside the restaurant as well, hoping to see him there although she was not sure who it was. But as expected, everyone was unfamiliar that her shoulders dropped defeatedly.
