Chapter 280: Scared

‘Scared?’ she repeated inwardly.

She wanted to laugh, but she repressed herself as she wanted to make Roxanne feel that she was on the upper hand.

“Who is this?” she asked, trying to sound clueless and pretending to not to know who the caller was.

A chuckle was heard from the other line, as though enjoying her struggle. “That’s a secret for now. You will be surprised once you know who I am..”
