“She’s here,” Carlos announced through the intercom.

Her lips curved upward as she swayed the swivel chair left and right. “Let her in,” she said.

After hanging up, she folded her arms across her chest and watched as the door opened. Her eyes instantly sparkled upon and her lips stretched wider upon seeing the guest she had been waiting for.

“I didn’t know we are best of friends,” she stated as soon as Roxanne showed up.

The woman smirked at her. She was wearing a sexy and fitted red dress that hugged her body. She was also wearing full make-up and diamond accessories as though she was attending a gala or a big event.

“It’s not my fault that you are stupid..” Roxanne chuckled.

Margaux’s eyebrows instantly raised. Her blood boiled not because she was annoyed at what she said, but rather, it was her arrogance that she did hate.

“You wouldn’t be here if I’m stupid,” she stated matter-of-factly.

Roxanne snorted. “I wouldn’t be here if you weren’t stupid. Don’t be confuse”
