“Hendrix!” Roxanne exclaimed as soon as she saw his face.

But instead of responding to her, he just pushed her forcefully and her body slammed on the floor.

Meanwhile, Margaux froze on her seat as she stared at the guy in front of her in utter disbelief. Her eyes went round while her lips parted slightly as though she had just seen a ghost.

“Are you okay?” Hendrix inquired.

He cupped her face but still, she was not able to move and just remained immobile while her gaze was not leaving him.

‘Am I just dreaming?’ she thought.

She could not believe what she was seeing. He’s not the one she was expecting to come for the police and their security were already on standby and just waiting for Carlos’ signal.

Blinking her eyes several times, her chest thumped wildly as his familiar scent entered her nostrils.
