Chapter 136: Apology

“What?!” Margaux exclaimed as she stared at Daisy with wide eyes, “Why did he think that?!”

Her cousin gave her a look while scrunching her nose, “Apparently, he invited him to the manor and had a brief talk”

“You’re kidding me!” she shook her head profusely.

“Why would I do that? We were also shocked by that information. Your father was the one who told us about that last night!”

Margaux was in disbelief. It never occurred to her that her father would talk with Hendrix one day. Because she knew her father was not the type to meddle with anyone’s business, especially to hers and her mother unless they asked him to.

“Aunt Felissa got mad at Uncle because according to her, your father was plotting something which in the end, Uncle admitted that he didn’t like Hendrix and he did that to intimidate him,” Daisy shook her head in disapproval, “For me, that’s really unnecessary though. Hendrix seemed to be the person who never gets intimidated easily”
