After she said those things to her, Hendrix became silent as if he switched off and never tried to make any more effort to prove himself to her.

“I already informed my family that I'm here so you don't need to worry about going to jail. Just be grateful I don't like getting my parents involved with my plans, so you are safe now,” she said before walking out of the apartment and shut the door right away.

Her face was grim as she sashayed her way out of the old building. She didn't bother calling anyone to fetch her as she didn't want them to see how exasperated she was.

She was utterly disappointed with Hendrix.
