Chapter 138: Brother

Margaux felt overwhelmed by all the things she learned from Hendrix and Daisy. Although she didn't believe Hendrix's words, it still affected her in some ways and she wished she never gave him a whole day at all.

She filed for a leave the next day and decided to just take a rest because she clearly wasn't able to sleep in the guy's apartment knowing that he was there as well in the same room with her. She had never slept with any guy, thus, she was uncomfortable even though Hendrix laid down on the other corner and with a very safe distance from her. As for her cousin, she didn’t know what to feel about that as it was equally shocking to the core.

She kept tossing and turning in her bed and was annoyed that she still couldn’t sleep in the comfort of her bed.

Her mind was a mess as the morning came. She was able to take a nap but that’s it. Hopeless to get a good sleep again, she finally decided to get out of her bed and take a walk outside.
