Chapter 140: Like

Hendrix stayed the whole day in his apartment. He had no energy to move and do anything. After the long discussion with Margaux, he felt so drained and exhausted he just wanted to lay down there until he recovered.

His eyes were shut when his phone blasted on but he didn’t care. He ignored it until it stopped ringing like he couldn’t hear anything at all and just let his mind wander back to his conversation with Margaux.

According to her, she hated him to the core. Why? Because he was a douchebag which he didn’t deny.

It was true. He neglected her and basically abandoned her after literally getting married. He left without a word right after the ceremony because of the emergency in the company. His mind then was so full about work that everything outside of it was forgotten.

He let out an exasperated sigh.

It was all his fault and only he could be blamed for whatever was happening at the moment.

Margaux won’t get mistreatment with his family if only he showed them that he cared
