Thank you so much for taking the time to read The Altundral Princess. This story is the sequel from Bred by the Alien King.

Although this story can be read on its own, you will have a better understanding of it if you read Bred by the Alien King; first, It will give you a better idea of the characters and settings.

Chapter one

Beven's point of view

I come to the waterfall every day. Just to watch the Princess, My beautiful Deliah, the Princess of Altundral.

They say she has extraordinary powers, and that's why her two brothers protect her.

The Princess never goes anywhere without her brothers, Prince Derial and Prince Davin, Princess Deliah Blue was born just after I came to live on Altundral.

I was six when I came here with my mum and little brother. My mother was trying to escape my violent father.

I remember that one night so well. He was hitting my mum over and over. I remember crying, and he called me a baby I was just a child when he left the scars on my body. The scars I still bare today.

My father was standing over me the knife still in his hand as my mother lay bleeding on the floor. He stabbed me as I tried to pull him away from her.

He kept pushing me back; I thought he was going to kill her.

I fell to the floor.

Landing next to the heavy doorstop.

I picked it up.

Smashing it over his head as hard as I could. I had to save my mum before he killed her.

I helped my mum to her feet, and we escaped, along with my baby brother.

As far away as possible, to another planet in another galaxy in another universe.

We were the first people to be rehomed on Altundral, under the new Queen's relocation program. My mum was given a cottage to live in and a job in the King and Queens Palace.

Queen Megan listened as my mum told her all about my father. He was a well-known politician he had money, he knew people in high places, and he could talk himself out of anything. My father tried to have my mum put in a mental institution. Claiming she was the one hurting herself. He tried to take us away from our mother.

We owe Queen Megan our lives. She saved us and brought us back to Altundral with her and King Halturian. We lived in the Palace for a while before we moved to the New village. There my mum met Makkan. They fell in love and later married and went on to have a little girl of their own.

Makkan helped me so much as a child. He taught me how to fight. He brought me back from that dark place. He showed me how a real man should love a child.

The man became my father, and I followed in his footsteps and joined the Kings guard at eighteen. I made my pledge to the King.

I used to play with the Princess when we were younger. It's so hard to get close to her now, though.

That's why I find myself at the waterfall, watching her.

Every day

………...

Princess Deliah Blue's point of view.

I come to the waterfall every day it's so peaceful here.

I love to listen to the sounds of nature. The flowing water makes me feel calm. I know he's here. I can feel him; he has such a strong presence around him—the handsome man with beautiful green eyes.

His name is Beven; I remember I used to play with him when I was a little girl.

His stepfather was my mother's personal guard, Makkan. Where ever Makkan went Beven followed.

I followed him then, Like a lost puppy. He was older than me. But he always found time for me. Always looked out for me. He was and still is my first ever crush.

I watched him grow up into the handsome man that he is today. But as I got older, my brothers became more protective of me, And Beven was pushed out of our circle.

I miss him.

I sit beside the waterfall as I watch Beven train. He is one of my father's best warriors.

So powerful, so muscular, so handsome

My Brother Prince Derriel, shouts over to me,

"You coming for a swim Deliah?"

I look up from my daydream and shake my head as my other brother Davin dives into the water.

"I'm In." He calls out before he disappears under the clear waters.

I watch my two brothers dive into the water. They're both strong men. I know they're only trying to look out for me, but at times they can be so overbearing, I smile as I reply.

"I'm just going to sit here; You two go ahead."

I look down on the ground as a little bird comes flapping around me. The small bird lands on the grass. His little body exhausted. I pick up his tiny little body, as I whisper

"Oh, you poor little thing."

I cup him in my palms, using my healing powers. My eyes glow as the healing begins. Bringing life back into his tiny body. I watch as he circles around me before flying away.

I stand up to watch the little bird fly high into the clouds, Forgetting how much strength the healing takes from me. I stumble before I fall into the water. The coldness takes my breath away as the water brings me under.

Just before the air leaves my lungs, two strong arms wrap around my body, pulling me back towards the surface.

I gasp for breath as I'm pulled to the surface. I look into his beautiful green eyes as I whisper.

"Beven."

He looks at me, his face full of concern as he asks

"Are you okay princess?"

I close my eyes for a second. I am shivering in my wet clothes.

"Deliah. Are you okay?"

I hear him call my name as he gently pulls me into his warmth. It feels nice.

I shiver as he pulls away from me. My eyes flutter open as he looks down at me; I see the concern on his face as I reply.

"Yeah, I'm okay."

I mumble as Beven gently strokes my face.

Derriel, comes to my side, pushing Beven out of the way as he says.

"We got it from here Beven thanks."

He drops his shoulders before he walks away turning back to look at me one last time. As Davin shouts

"What the fuck was you thinking, You could have killed yourself."

I shrug my shoulders as I reply.

"The bird was injured. I just wanted to help."

Davin's face turns red with anger as he says.

"You nearly killed yourself for a fucking bird."

Derriel places his hand on Davin's shoulder as he says.

"That's enough, Davin. Come on Deliah let's get you home."

I nod my head as Derriel wraps his jacket around me, and Davin lifts me into his arms, carrying me back to the Palace.

I really need to work on these powers.

I turn my head one last time to look, back at Beven.

My God, that man is handsome. And those eyes.

Davin carries me back to the Palace. I rest my head on his shoulder as I shiver. I'm so cold. So tired.

My eyes close exhaustion taking over.

Those beautiful eyes invade my subconscious.

I hear my mums voice as my body is slowly lowered into a blissfully warm bath, she whispers

"My baby. Open your eyes sweetie."

I force my eyes open and look into my mothers face; she smiles at me

"Feeling better now?"

I nod my head as I reply.

"Yeah."

Mum smiles at me as she says.

"You really need to learn how to control this power you have baby before it controls you."

I look up into my mum's concerned face as I say.

"I know. I'm trying mum."

She smiles as she says.

" I know baby I just worry over you."

"Beven, he saved me," I whisper as mum giggles

'I know honey Derriel told me all about it. That boy has always had a thing for you."

I raise my eyebrows as mum says.

"I see the way you two look at each other Deliah."

"But he's a warrior," I whisper

I look down feeling embarrassed, as mum says

"Oh, sweetie. Your father swept me off my feet when I was your age. I was a nobody on earth. I was a nobody until I met your father. No one can tell you who to give your heart to Deliah. Not your father or your brothers. I know they can be a little protective of you. Your the only person who decides who your heart belongs to."

"Oh," I say as I raise my eyebrows.

Mum laughs as she says.

"That choice is yours and yours alone."

I nod my head as I reply.

"Yes, I guess. Thank you, mum."

My mum kisses my head before she leaves the room as I sink back down into the water. Does he really like me?
