The Altundral Princess

Chapter seven

 princess Deliah Blue's point of view

I'm laying on my bed. I can hear someone talking to me. Is that Beven? Did He just say that he loves me?

"I love you, Princess." He whispers again.

   

He carries on stroking my hair; it feels so nice. I open my eyes and turn to look at him. His beautiful grey, green eyes are looking down on me.

    

He smiles when he sees I'm awake as I whisper,

"Beven, your okay?" 

   

"Yeah, thanks to you baby." He replies,

I blush as he looks at me, turning my head to look into his eyes as I say

"I was so worried, Beven, I thought I'd lost you."

  

A tear slips down my face, and Beven gently wipes it, he smiles as he says.

  

"I'm okay baby, look. You saved my life Deliah."

He pulls open his shirt. There isn't a mark on him. I laugh as I say,

"You saved mine first. Do you know who those men were? we're they after me?"

He looks at me, his face filled with concern as he says.

"No, your father's looking into it. Your Father seems to think they came for you."

Beven smiles taking my hand in his,

"He's asked me to be your guard. He wants me to be by your side at all times.

Your Mother and father have also given us their blessing to be together Deliah."

            

"Oh," I whisper shocked.

  

Well, I wasn't expecting that. Father has always been so strict with me. I can't help the smile that leaves my face; we can finally be together.

Beven grins as I ask,

"Do you want us to be together Beven?"

He chuckles, as he replies,

"If I get to by your side every day fuck yeah I'm all in baby."

He looks at me, his face serious,

"What about you Deliah Blue?. I see you as my mate, is this how you see me."

He laughs as I blush.

"Yeah, I do" I whisper as he replies,

"Good, that means I get to do this every day."

He leans in a gently kisses my lips.

I can't help the moan that escapes from my lips. Beven laughs as he pulls away.

"Mmmmm."

      

Beven groan as he says,

"God, you have no idea what that does to me, princess. Come on, your mum and dad have been so worried about you."

    

"Okay."

I say as he helps me up off the bed. He holds out his hand to me, taking my hand in his as we make our way downstairs in search of my parents.

As we make our way into the kitchen, my father looks up.

He smiles when he sees me,

"Hello, Princess. You look better, how are you feeling."

My father walks over to me and kisses my forehead as I reply

    

"yes, I am. So you wanted to speak to us?"

We sit down around the table with my parents as my father explains my powers to Beven. He needs to learn when to pull me away from the connection.

I need to learn how to control them.

There's a knock on the door as Makkan comes into the room.

He bows before my father as he says,

"Sorry to disturb you, King Halturian. Our guards have picked some of the men up that we're following Princess Deliah and Beven."

My father nods his head as he asks

"Do we know who they are?"

Makkan replies,

"Not yet, but I've asked the guards to bring them to the Palace."

"Thank you Makkan please let me know when they arrive. I want to talk to them myself." My father says

Makkan replies

                

"Yes, King."

Before he turns to look at Beven as he says.

"Beven, I've asked you, mother, to bring your belongings to the Palace."

I raise my eyebrows as I look at my father. He smiles as he says.

"Beven, I've arranged for you to stay in the room next to Deliah. If you wish to remain with Deliah, that's down to the pair of you two to discuss."

I blush, feeling all eyes on me, Beven smiles the honesty in his eyes, putting me at rest as he says to my father.

"Thank you, King Halturian. As I said before, things won't progress until Deliah's ready."

My father nods his head as he says.

"Please call me Halturian, after all, you are to become my daughter's mate."

Beven grins as he looks at me he says, 

"I hope so, that's if she will have me."

That makes me smile, of course, I want him. I mean, look at him who wouldn't want him.

                   

Beven's mother comes with some of his belongings. My father insists they stay for dinner while we wait for the Kings guards to bring the men back to the Palace not long after one of Makkan's guards comes into the room.

  

He bows as he says.

  

"I'm sorry to disturb you king Halturian, Queen Megan. Some of the Kings guards have captured some more men, close to the beach where princess Deliah Bue and Beven were attacked."

My father stands,

"Thank you. Nebus, please have them brought to the palace immediately."

"Yes, right away, King Halturian."

The guard nods before leaving the room.

My father looks at Beven and Makkan as he says

"Maybe now we can get some answers."

Makkan, replies

"Yes, I would like to get my hands on the men who tried to kill my son."

Beven looks at his father as he mutters

"Yeah me too."

I take Bevens hand in mine, giving it a little squeeze he immediately relaxes, turning to smile at me. I turn to look at my mother and father. Father sees me holding Bevens's hand he doesn't say a word .my mother well she's smiling from ear to ear. The rest of the dinner is spent quietly talking between the six of us. It seems so natural, so right to be sat here in front of both of our parents holding holds.

Beven keeps turning to me his eyes light up as he looks at me. He looks at me with such tenderness it melts my heart.

Nebus walks back into the room, bowing to the King as he says,

  

"King Halturian, Queen Megan, my guards have arrived back at the palace with the captives I have told them to take them to the holding cells."

"Good, let's hope we get some answers."

Makkan and Beven rise with my father, as Makkan says.

"Let's see what these fuckers want with our princess."

I watch as  Beven, my father and Makkan all look at each other before my father turns to Nebus and says

       

"Nebus could you please take princess Deliah up to her room I'm trusting you with my daughter's life do not let anyone into her room."

He bows as he replies.

"Yes, King Halturian, you have my word."

   

Nebus takes my arm and guides me from the room. I hear my father say to Beven.

"I'm sure you want to be present for this Beven."

And Beven replies.

"Your dam right, I do. I want to know why these people were spying on us. If they had any intention of taking Princess Deliah, I swear I will kill them."

"You and me both Beven." My father says as they leave the room.

Nebus, guides me up the stairs checking my room, once he satisfied he nods his head before leaving me alone with my thoughts.

I wonder who these men are and why they were following us at the beach. I also wonder what Beven, my father and Makkan will do to them.

Who are these men? What will happen to them? Will Beven Halturian and Makkan get the answers they need.
