The Altundral princess

Chapter ten

  King halturian's point of view.

I'm heading into the spaceship with my brother Prince Galen after saying my goodbyes with my family.

It's so hard to see my Queen upset I hate to leave her and my children, they may be grown up now, but they will always be my children, and I haven't been apart from Megan since the day we were married, but this is something I have to do, no one comes to Altundral and threatens my princess.

I will find them and make them pay.

    

My brother walks over to me placing a hand on my shoulder as he says,

"Are you okay?"

I sigh as I reply,

"Yeah,  I just didn't think it would be this hard to leave them behind."

My brother looks out to his own family as he replies,

"Yeah, me too I hate to see Sasha and my children so upset. Let's find this army and finish them so we can get back home to our families. No one comes after my niece and gets away with it."

 I laugh as my Son prince Davin says.

"I'm going to kill the fuckers who think they can take my sister."

He's always been so protective of his Sister.

"Yeah, I know Son," I reply.

We spend the next forty-eight hours travelling to vogshere. I'm missing my wife and children so much.

We finally reach the landing decks we have a vast army of Altundrals and many allies from all over the galaxy.

King Rebi and Queen Ginya are waiting on the dock when we arrive.

Ginya holds out her hands to me as she says, 

"King Halturian to what do we owe the pleasure my friend and where is your beautiful Queen?"

                     

I half-smile as I say,

  

"Queen Ginya we wish to speak to you and King Rebi I'm afraid this isn't a social visit."

Ginya frowns as she asks,

"Oh, I hope everything is okay, my friend let's take this to the privacy of the palace."

"Thank you," I reply

Myself, prince Galen, prince Davin and my chief of guards Makken follow the King and Queen to the palace, along with the vogspherian prisoners we captured in Altundral.

I explain about the vogsherians invading Althundral and trying to kidnap my daughter Princess Deliah Blue.

King Rebi looks at me as he says, 

"I can promise you King Halturian these people are not from our planet."

I look over at the prisoners as I speak to King Rebi.

"They said they are the remaining men of Jalebs army, and they are building numbers to overturn you."

I look at the prisoners confused as they all seem pretty pleased with themselves.

Ginya looks at them as she says.

"These men are not from Vogshere."

                     

I go to jump up from my seat Anger building inside, but my Son Davin beats me too it. He already has his hands around the leader's neck as he says.

"Who the fuck are you? Why did you tell us you were from Vogshere?"

I watch as the colour begins to leave his face as he struggles to breathe.

"Stop please, I can't breathe." The prisoner cries out before he whispers.

"We're from Equx we were sent to lure your Amy away from Altundral."

"You fuckers. Why?"

David rages as he tightens his grip on the alien's neck.

"To save your brother, Jalab's son."

I watch as Davin turns to look at me....fuck......

He whispers,

"My brother is Prince Darriel the future king of Altundral...what the fuck are you talking about."

He lifts his head as he asks, 

"father?"

The prisoner takes his last breath before falling to the floor.

I slam my fist into the nearest wall. I'm such a fool I fell for their plan.

                         

I stride to the door as I call out,

  

"We need to leave now the princess is in danger."

I start to run towards the ships the others follow behind me. I have to save my daughter and my family.

Prince Davin looks at me once again, his face filled with confusion as he whispers

"father?"

I sigh as I say,

"I promise you, Davin, I will explain everything, but we have to get back to Altundral before its too late, Deliah is not strong enough to use her powers."

We're soon back on the ship, and I'm desperately trying to get hold of someone from home.

My Queen, My Son prince Derriel, princess Deliah Blue, Beven, Nebus. To my despair, no one answers, I shout out in frustration as I say,

"fuck I'm such a fool. I've let them all down."

Prince Galen looks at me with worry on his face,

"I can't get hold of Sasha any of my family either."

I look at my brother as I say, 

"I'm so sorry Galen, this is all my fault."

He replies.

"No, it's not brother I'm sure everything will be okay maybe they've just cut the communications, Nebus has a good army with him."

"I hope your right."

Even though I say those words I can feel something isn't right, my Queen and my children are in danger, I can sense it.

As we spend the next forty-eight hours travelling back to Altundral. I tell Davin everything.

"I'm sorry son I've only wanted to protect you. I should have told you; you should have never found out like this, hearing it from someone else."

I'm surprised at how calm he is. Davin has always had a crazy temper; he looks at me as he says,

"You should have told me, but I understand why you kept it from me, who wants to know their father is an evil God."

I pull him into a hug as I say,

"You are my son Davin, and I will always be here for you."

 David whispers back,

"I will always be grateful to you father you brought me up knowing right from wrong, and you've never treated me any different from Darriel and Deliah, but right now, I have to get home to my sister and find out why this brother of mine wants her powers."

                    

We nod our heads in understanding. My son is growing up; I just pray we're not too late to save our family.
