Casler

“MATE!”

I turned around. I was confused. Then I tried to move aside maybe the man was referring to the girl behind me but I was caught off guard when he grabbed my hands tightly and dragged me into an empty room.

“What’s wrong with you!?” I shouted

“What’s wrong with me? I should be the one, who’s asking that!” he yelled back

“Ohhhh I know, Alpha James Knight the big bad alpha. Nice to meet you but you see, I don’t care who you are. You can’t just drag me anywhere you like! I am not like a normal she wolf that would beg for your attention, now please” I said as I walk through the doors.

He immediately locked me in his arms. His eyes softens and his voice became calm and loving “Why can’t you feel this, MATE?”

He asked and I froze.

“You better keep your hands of her” A familiar voice came

We both look at him at the same time and I grab the opportunity to stand behind Lorcan.

“Why? Got a problem with that?” James asked his fist was balling

Lorcan didn’t answer. He looked at me and asked “Are you okay? Why did you cry?”

“It’s fine Lorcan, can we just leave?” I asked

He nodded and we were about to leave when someone pulled me again

“You can’t leave just like that!” James shouted as he gripped my wrist tightly

“You’re hurting me” I said, my voice breaking

“Stop this now! You are in our territory. I don’t care if you’re an Alpha, let her go” Lorcan shouted

“So you want to fight me huh?” James said

“No one is fighting anyone” Alex voice came in

“Alex!” I ran to my brother and hugged him

James growled.

“What’s wrong? Are you okay? Did he hurt you?” Alex asked and I just hugged him, I don’t why I did, but I did. I was confused, scared and angry at the same time, I just need comfort.

“You need to leave now, before I do anything to you” Alex said

“Lorcan, bring my sister to her room” Alex added

‘“NO!” James shouted

“You will not take away my mate!” James shouted

We were all shocked. See, I am shocked too. How would I know

“Cas? Mate?” Alex asked

“I don’t know, I don’t feel anything” I said feeling defeated. It’s true I don’t. Is he lying?

“See” Alex said

“But I.feel it! My wolf is going crazy!” James said with gritted teeth

We are all silent. Not until our parents came in. Also James’ parents

“What’s all the commotion about?” My dad said

“Oh my goodness, what happened to your wrist! Who hurt you? This is the first time!” My mom said

“Honey, look at this!” she said as she showed my wrist to my dad, his eyes widen

“Who did this! We never hurt you not even once. Not even the time you set fire in the shed! And the time---“ I cut him off “Dad, yes, I know I did things you don’t need to enumerate them all, it’s clear now, you never hurt me, no one does”

“Then who has the nerve to hurt you?” He growled

“Alpha James. He claims to be her mate” Alex said

“What?” Aunt Rose and Uncle Ronan exclaimed

“Yes mom. I feel it, I even smell roses and strawberries” James said

“MOM?” I said

“Yes, mom. My mom. Your soon to be mom too” He whispered the last part but    I heard it

“Then why doesn’t she feel it?” Aunt Rose said as she looks at my mom and dad

“Let me talk to them” Crystal said

“Why? Do you know what’s happening?” I asked my wolf

“Just let me talk to them” I nodded

“I think I know”

James’ POV

“I thought you didn’t know?” I asked

She told me she didn’t know. Now she knows, what the hell is going on.

“That’s Crystal” Alpha Alex says

I looked at him confused. I thought she’s Cas? Maybe her name is Cassandra

“Are you really a wolf? My goodness, it’s her wolf!” the other guy said

I looked at her and asked, “Can you feel it?”

“I am sorry. We don’t feel it. I am really sorry” she answered

Why doesn’t she feel it? Am I going crazy about this mate thing? No, I can really smell her. So good, roses and strawberries

“What do you mean?” My mom asked

“First of all, you all know she has a mate before right?” They all nodded, well not me

“What?” I said

“We had a mate before but well….” She can’t continue, did she got rejected? Impossible, she’s really pretty, I mean really. Good body, a perfect one if you ask me.

“He died” the Lorcan guy said. I don’t like this guy

“I don’t either. He’s touching mate too much” Ash, my wolf said

“He died? So that means, my son is her second chance mate?” My dad asked

“Apparently, yes. Though we cannot feel it. I told her she should be careful what she wishes for and now, look” Her wolf says

“What wish, crystal” Alpha Alex asked

“She wish to not feel anything when her second chance mate comes” Crystal continued

We were all shocked. And Silence fell for a few minutes, no one dared to talk. I was about to talk

“Oh that wish” I guess she’s back

“I didn’t know it would come true” she added

My parents are looking at me worried.

“How can we fix this?” My mom asks

No one could answer. Then my sister came in.

“Caswer!” she shouted

“Sorry Alpha, she was asking to go around and find her” Cole said

“Hello there again. Why are you looking for me?” she asked, she smiled a little, but I was wondering why does it look like she’s never smiled before. Oh and her name is Casler. Weird name for a girl

“Oh my goodness! Cas, you smiled! You fucking smiled!” The other guys says

“Language, brother!” Casler said, oh brother.

My parents and I are confused, on his reaction.

“This is Bryan, Beta Bryan, our second son. She never smiled again after the death of her mate, so well, this is the first time” My dad, her dad said

What? Never smiled? Who can do that?

I looked at her. The smile was gone.

“I don’t know, I like you” my sister said, well that’s easy

“I like you too, you know why?” she asked, my sister shook her head

“Because I like your dress, it’s my favorite. See, I am wearing the same color as you” she said

“my favwowit too!” Lily, my sister squealed, hugging her

We all looked at them in awe. My Mate, I finally found my mate and she’s fucking perfect

“Caswer” my sister looked worried

“Call me Cas, it’s way easier” she said

“Cas, you feel hot” she said and our eyes widen

Before we knew it she fainted. The Lorcan guy was the first one to grab her, and carried her. I growled

“No time for that, take her to her room and call the Doctor” Alpha Alex says

Lorcan was carrying my mate. I should be the one carrying her, right?

He put her down the bed gently and I can feel jealousy rising through me. I have to fight it. Goodness, is she her boyfriend or something.

The doctor came just in time and she checked her.

“She’s just tired. She needs to rest for a while” she said

We all came out of her bedroom, and we were taken to Alpha Alex’s office.

“So you all know about her Mate. My brother. “ Lorcan says

“Your brother? Then suddenly, you’re in the picture, acting like her boyfriend?” I said

“Stop it. They are friends for years. Don’t get you jealousy get through you Alpha” Alpha Alex says

I stayed quiet, just because I need to know more about her, and her family.

“You met our parents. I am her brother, oldest. That’s my Beta, Bryan, also my brother. And we have Cas, youngest sister. My mate is her best friend. And Her Mate died, six years ago, in the battle, he was a warrior. So she decided to be one too. Lucas, her mate was the best warrior, but he died, yes, because someone used black magic against him. Then after that, she changed, and apparently she wished something, she shouldn’t have. And now we are here” Alpha Alex says

“What’s his role then?” I asked pointing at Lorcan

“I don’t like him either but she keeps him close to him. So we don’t argue with her. As we said a while back, no one can hurt her or even dare to not until you came along. We also avoid shouting at her because she has a short temper and gets upset easily”

That’s why they were mad. Well I was mad too. Who wouldn’t right? She can’t feel me and I am sure that she won’t acknowledge me too.

“I am sorry for her wrist but I was just jealous, the way that guy was holding her” I said poiting at Lorcan

“What are your plans then?” Alpha Alex asks

“I will bring her home with me” I said

And her mom and dad stood up “You can’t do that!” her mom said

“You can’t tell me that I can’t take my mate away. She’s mine” I snapped back

“Son relax” My dad says

“Relax? They don’t want me to take my mate, our Luna away!” I said shouting

“Keep your voice down, the party is still on-going” Cole said

“I don’t care, I am taking her away. Whether you like it or not!” I said and I was walking towards the door

“You can’t just yet” Her dad says

I stopped and looked at him, raising my eyebrows

“Baby” Her mom warns him

I got curious. “What is it?”

“She’s a hybrid”
