Chapter Nine

Casler

All is set. I haven’t forgotten anything right? I already checked everything and I am sure that all is with me.

“Hey sweetie” My mom said

“Hey mom”

“Are you sure about this?”

“Yes, it will help all of us, I can’t be selfish this time” I said and tried to smile again

She walked towards my night stand and picked something up.

“Are you sure you want leave this?” she asked while showing me the bracelet

I am not sure if I am supposed to wear it. I mean I want too because that’s the only thing I have that belongs to Lucas. It is also very rare. It was his grandmother’s and he gave it to me before he left. But like I said I don’t want to selfish this time.

“I’m not sure. I’m scared Mom” I said her while biting my lips

She walked towards me and took my hand, to put on the bracelet “Don’t be afraid. Wear it for the mean time. No one knows except us here. It’s okay if you’re still not ready to let go”

“Thanks mom” and I hugged her

“No more drama’s, let’s hurry up. They are all waiting downstairs.”

We left my room and I looked at it again and slowly I closed the door. I walked downstairs and saw my brother’s with their mates.

“Call me when things are hard okay? I will always be one call away.” Alex said and kissed my temples

“I will visit you soon. With this tiny angel here” Alice said, rubbing her tummy and hugged me

“I will visit you with mom and dad, thrice a week right?” Lucy said and I nodded

“No more spoiled brat, thank goodness” Bryan said and I smack him in the head

“Just kidding, we will miss you here. Make some time to visit here too okay?” I nodded and he hugged me

“Mom, Dad. Visit okay? You promised” I said with a teary eye

“Yes baby, we will. Be careful okay and be a good girl” Dad said and hugged me tight

Mom didn’t say anything. She just hugged me and cried. My dad hugged her tight, as I walk towards the car. I can’t seem to find Lorcan but he promised me he will visit me at least once a week, I will hold on to that.

I get inside the car, and as we drove off, I wave my family goodbye. I can’t see them anymore. I decided to play with my bracelet, not even bothered on who I was with.

“Sweety, you’ll love it there” Aunt Rose said or Mom, I don’t know.

“Mommy can I sit with sistew?” Llily asked

“I don’t know darlin’” she said

“It’s fine, Aun---I mean Mom….” I look at Lily “Come here”

Uncle was driving and Aunt and lily was in the front seat, I was at the back with Alpha here, and now Lily is here with me.

“Are you sleepy?” I asked her

“Ahuh” she nodded

“Sleep here. I will wake you up when we get there” I tell her

“Okay!!!” she said cheerfully and the next thing I know she was already asleep and to my surprise she’s a heavy sleeper like me. I smiled at that

He cleared his throat “Let me take her, so you won’t get tired”

Without looking at him I said “No, it’s fine”

“Suit yourself” He said

Yes, I am stubborn. I don’t care, I was born and raised like this, I won’t deny that. After a few minutes I fell asleep.

After more like an hour, I feel warm hands around me and I snuggled to it. Then it disappeared I groaned and fell back into a deep sleep.

I woke up, feeling weird. It felt like It was the most comfortable sleep of my life. I slowly opened my eyes seeing an unfamiliar room. Then I remembered, I am in a different pack already.

I sit up and look around. Everything in this room is colored white or black, but it was nice though. I try to find my luggage only to find them neatly folded in a walk in closet, together with my bags and shoes.

I walk over to the window and it has a nice view of a lake. I was curious and decided to check it out. I walk in the bathroom to shower. I own a lot of clothes but most of them are crop tops, and shorts. I hate jeans, it’s hot. As for dresses I own a few because I wear them occasionally.

I decided to wear a darker shade of crop top, that fits my body tight but not too tight and a high wasted shorts paired with sneakers. I usually don’t dry my hair because it’s either my dad or my brother’s do it for me, so I didn’t do it.

I go downstairs and went to see the lake. It’s beautiful. When you are far away, you could see a silver lake and when you are near it, it’s so clear, the clearest water I have ever seen. Maybe that’s why it’s called the Silver Lake pack.

“Luna” startled I turned around to see a smiling cole

“Hey Cole. Don’t call me Luna. Cas is fine” I tell him

“Alpha wouldn’t agree” he said

“Listen to me. Call me Cas or I won’t talk to you” I warn

“Okay, Cas. What are you doing here?” He asked almost immediately

“I woke up and saw this lake. I was curious if it’s really silver, to my surprise, it’s not”

“Well, this is truly amazing”

“So you want to have a tour?” He added

“If you’re okay with it, why not?” I said, and shrugged

“Come on, let me introduce you to the pack” he said

I nodded. He lead me to different places in the pack and I met some amazing people. They were all nice. Somehow I am starting to love it here and the people are just bonus. Well, except for their Alpha, of course.

Lastly, he lead me to the packs orphanage.

“Hi Kids!” he shouted

Kids came running towards him. Climb at him and started kissing him everywhere until he fell down. They were all busy taking him down with hugs and kisses

“Okay, settle down now. I want you all to meet someone” he said and they all stood up and stared at me

“She’s pretty, is she your baby?” One boy asked, Cole stiffened and before he could answer I said “No pretty boy. I’m Cas, I am his friend” I said and tried to smile

“You’re new here! We have a new sister!” another one shouted

“Read us a story!!” a boy said

“Sure, come on!” I said and pulled them towards the story room and started to read them story until they fell asleep. They are all cute.

“So hey, I am so sorry about that” Cole said and I smiled

“It’s fine. They are kids. Why do they love you so much” I asked as we walk outside

“I grew up here and ever since I always visit them” he said

Oh he is an orphan. I pouted. At least he grew up nice. He is handsome, with blue eyes and brown hair. He has the same traits with Lucas but not exactly. Lucas also loved kids and loved by them. I sighed by that thought

“Why? What’s wrong?” He asked worried

“Nothing, I remembered someone” I said

“So anything else you want to show me?” I asked changing the topic that was coming up

“I heard you are the best warrior in your pack. If you are here then who would train the one you left?” He asked

“I left someone in-charge there. I believe he could do it” I answered

“You trust him that much?” He asked

“Of course, I personally trained him. Now show me your warriors. You are one of the strongest pack, right?

“Come on, I’ll let you meet them” He said then suddenly he stopped walking

“What’s wrong?” I touched his back, I heard a growl and saw James standing not so far away, I immediately let him go because Mom warned me about Alpha’s, they are extra possessive. I wouldn’t want Cole getting hurt

“He mind linked me, he was looking for you” Cole said and left my side, he went straight to him and whispered something.

He nodded and Cole looked at me one last time like he was sorry. And he left. James then walked towards me, I did the same and I was planning to walk pass him. Note: PLANNING

I stopped and he did the same, he stared at me from head to toe. Okay, that was weird.

“You need to change” He said

“No” I said firmly

“What do you mean no? Do you not own some sweatpants or hoodies or something?” He asked

“Why would I wear those? Well hoodie is fine but it’s too hot” I answered

He pulled me and drag me into the house and I was trying to ran away from him, and then he got tired of me, he put me on his shoulder

“Put me down, jerk!” I shouted

“People respect me here. Better choose your words, I don’t think a Luna should talk like that” he said and what he said shut me up, I hate him too much. Now I decide to not talk to him.

When we got to my room he put me down and locked the door. I didn’t talk and I don’t want to. He went to the closet and opened one of the cabinets. I saw his clothes. Meaning this is our room. My goodness! I need another room. But I will tell his parents later, I don’t want to talk to him now.

He took a shirt and threw it at me. ”Change into that.”

I didn’t want to talk to him, so I did what he asked me to do. After that he looked at me again.

“That’s better. Now come along, it’s dinner already. My sister has been dying to see you again” he said and leads me to the door.
