So yeah, I passed out. Great. And yes, the moon goddess heard my wish and I was so fucking stupid, I could’ve wished for Lucas to come back, instead I wished for some stupid thing. I groaned at my stupidity.

“Good, you are awake” Lorcan said

I didn’t answer. I just cover myself in my quilt.

“Oh stop being dramatic. You have a mate. I am so happy for you” he said

“Nope. Don’t wanna talk about it” I said

“Come on, he is good looking” He said

“first I don’t care but I love her sister. After six fucking years, she’s the one who made me smile.” I said

“Now, I am jealous. Her sister can make you smile but I can’t and I am your best friend for goodness sake” Alice said

“Alice” I warn

“Get up. When they leave I am so sure, they are bringing you with them. You must be prepared” Lucy said

I uncover myself “What?”

“You have to go with him if he does leave. He’s an Alpha, and you know how possessive they are with their mates” Alice said

“What?” Alice said

Oh yeah, no one knows about the first part. See I screwed up again.

“It’s true” I said. I sighed “Where are they? I need answers” I get up and walk towards the door

“Office, I will be waiting here for you” Lorcan said

Well, I guess it was a private talk. I am now walking with Alice and Lucy. And I have this strange feeling.

“I feel it too” Crystal said

“Right? I feel nervous all of a sudden” I said

“We better hurry up.” She said

We were about to step inside when I heard it.

“She’s a hybrid” I heard my dad said

“WHAT?” I asked

They all looked at me in shock. My mom came towards me quickly

“Oh sweety, are you okay? Does anything hurt? You can tell me baby” she said

“No mom, I am fine.” I said and she hugged me then she lets me go

“What dad said. Is it true?” I ask and I hear my voice breaking.

“No matter what we tell you. I am your mom and this is your family. Okay?” My mom said and I nodded

James walked towards me and I held my mom tight and closed my eyes.

“What the?” he suddenly said

“Cas, drop it” Alice said

“Drop what?” I asked confused

“The orb, Cas. Drop it. It’s okay” Alex said

“I don’t know how” I admitted as I open my eyes

“You’re scared. Don’t be. He won’t hurt you baby. Drop it” My mom said

I guess I was scared of him. Then I close my eyes again then there, the orb was gone.

“What happened? What was that?” Aunt Rose asked

“She was just scared of him and she absentmindedly protected herself” Alex said

“How did you know?” I asked

“Remember the time when we were fighting in your room?” Alice asked

“Which one? You are always fighting there” I said

Alex smacked me in the head. “When she was pregnant dummy”

James growled and I looked at him “You know, you need to control that emotions of yours” I said and rolled my eyes

“You know when you go with me, you can’t talk to me like that” he smirked and I rolled my eyes again

“Well, I never said or mentioned that it was about the girl, you know. I think you read my mind then.” Alice said

“So I got suspicious and I told Alex. Then we found out that you were a hybrid, that explains it” Alice continued

“Oh” I just manage to say

“Who are my parents?” I asked

“We are” My mom said

“Mom. Biological parents” I said

“Well, she…uhmm….she was” My mom was stuttering

“She’s the best friend of your mom. She…” My dad was cut off “Baby, sit and I will tell you” My mom said

She held my hands “She was my best friend. She was one of the most powerful witch existed. She got pregnant with you and decided to leave her realm, to be with your dad. Your dad was a werewolf with a lycan blood. When they had you, they were alarmed. When I say they, I mean everyone. Because A witch and a werewolf with lycan blood would produce a hybrid. A different kind. A powerful one.”

I nodded.

“So, long story short. Some had you killed when you were born. She had to run and she came to me and left you. She promised to come back but….” She paused and she looked at me

“Your parents didn’t make it” My dad continued

“But when she left you with me, she made your scent just like mine, ours. She made sure you were safe” My mom said

“She called you Cas but she didn’t have enough time to tell me your name, that’s why I decided on Casler” she added

I can’t find my voice to talk. No tears came out. Guess I was shocked. I stood up, they were about to stop me but Bryan stopped them.

“Let her be, she needs to take it all in” He said

I was near the door when Lorcan came in. When I saw him, I hugged him, then came the tears. He hugged me

“Who called you here?” James asked, he was mad I can sense it

“I did” Alex said

“Thank you” I mind linked Alex

“Always Welcome. I knew you needed him” He answered

“Why?” James asked

“Because she needed him” Alex answered

“You can’t let an unmated wolf near her. He would go crazy!” Uncle Ronan said

James was about to punch Lorcan but I stood between them.

“Stop” I whispered

“Step away from him” James said

“I…need…” I was stopped, he hugged me and somehow I felt comfort. I felt safe

I didn’t like what I felt so I pushed him away and ran outside. They called after me but I locked my room already. I am crying and I want it to stop but I can’t.

I looked at Lucas’ picture on my desk. But it was gone. I panicked. I can’t find it anywhere. Where is it. Where is it. Where is it.

I can’t find it anywhere. I threw everything away hoping I would find it. Maybe trashing my room was a bad idea. My room burst open and I saw Alex standing there.

“Alex, I can’t find it. Alex” I said and my knees became weak and I dropped myself on the floor.

He came rushing and hugged me. “What was it. What is it you can’t find? I’ll help you”

“Lucas. I can’t find Lucas” I cried and cried “Alex, where is it”

“Cas!!!!” I heard someone shout then suddenly everything went black
