With bitterness in her voice, Kamara said, "You should have told me earlier, Louis, so I could have stopped fate from bringing me and Caiden back together." Kamara could no longer conceal the intense agony that was hiding in her eyes in addition to her hatred.

"What are your plans going forward?" he inquired, anticipating Kamara's next move. She turned away from him, avoiding his stare, and said, "I'm going to Caiden and make him confess. You shouldn't stay here when Nate gets here because it's unsafe."

Louis grabbed Kamara's forearm as she was ready to go inside the home once more, making her stop and turn to face him. "Are we going to cross paths again?" he inquired.

"You know exactly where to find me, Louis," she said, her eyes saddening. "Nevertheless, I appreciate you being honest with me."
