158. Enzo's confession 2

The modest police station was suddenly filled with a heavy quiet. Trying to see how Kamara would respond to Enzo's account, Caiden watched her closely, but she remained silent.

Jessie looked at Enzo within the cell, stunned. How far would he go in his quest for vengeance to the point where he would openly lie to Kamara about their own history?

"Enzo, what kind of madness is this?" Jessie asked, but her brother seemed dead serious from the look on his face. "Is Kamara really our sister?"

"I did say she was our sister," he said, clenching his teeth in a vile manner. "She is my sister. Indeed, I have been dealing with this psychosis ever since I learned of our father's adultery."

Kamara found it hard to accept this as reality. Her legs began to weaken as well.

"You're saying this only to cause me pain," Kamara's heart burned in her chest as tears filled her eyes. "My parents loved each other, they would never do such a thing."
