Chapter 22

JET POV

When I heard that a Fae was enrolled to start in school I immediately made my way here. I knew it was Lily, and I had a lot to discuss with her. Plus, I really missed her and needed to see with my own eyes that she was alive and well.

I convinced them to let me be a teacher, and I used a spray that masked my scent and changed it to that of a wolf. Nobody would be able to tell that I was a Fae. To say I was shocked when I first saw her would be an understatement. Gone was the innocent eleven year old girl I had left. In her place stood a young woman who looked to have gone through way too much for the small amount of years she had lived.

I was bewildered that it took her so long to recognize me, but when she did she was irate. I have no clue how she managed to keep her powers under control, and although she was mad I couldn’t help but be thrilled that I found her. Seeing Lily now makes my past decisions twenty times worse. Once she told me that she made her first kill at age el
