Rachel’s POV

“Scott.” I called his name as I pulled away from the kiss quickly. I noticed David turned to look at him too, and we stood up and walked to him.

“Sorry for interrupting; I didn’t know you guys were here.” He smiled a little, and he was looking in just my direction.

“It’s not what you think.” I uttered it without realizing what I just said, and David looked at me immediately as he furrowed his brows.

“What do you mean by that?” Scott laughed a little.

“I didn’t mean it the way you think; I just don’t know what to say.” I kept a very concerned look on my face. David just stood there staring at me, but I didn’t even look in his direction.

I didn’t want Scott to get hurt; he confessed his feelings for me, and I also made it clear that I don’t like David, but now that he saw me kissing him, he might take that for a lie.

“Do you like Scott?” David's question; his attention had just been focused on me since I uttered those words.

Scott laughed. “What are you saying?” He asked.
