Rachel’s POV

The next morning I woke up, walked to the bathroom to wash up, and left the room. I woke up quite late, so once I was done washing up, they called me for breakfast.

I walked out of my room and looked at David’s door, and that was when it dawned on me that he had already traveled.

I feel so sad; I didn’t even have the chance to say goodbye properly, and the thoughts of last night flushed back into my head.

Did I sound rude when I indirectly told him I wouldn’t miss him? I guess I will miss him. I don’t like this feeling.

I massaged my chest and went downstairs.

I greeted Luna as I got there. Scott wasn’t present in the dining room either, just Luna and me.

“I know you must be wondering why it's just you and me, right? Luna asked, looking at me.

“Yes, I know David and the Alpha left this morning, but what about Scott? I asked; at least he was supposed to be here. If it's only me in this house, I’ll have to go to Mary’s place later in the day. I can't die of boredom in this
