Chapter 78

Rachel POV

I picked up the call.

“Rachel, how are you? He asked as I picked up the call.

“I am alright; what about you? How are you doing? I asked him, lying properly in bed, if I got even more comfortable.

“I am good, just a little stressed out. He answered.

“You’ll be fine when you get enough sleep. I replied immediately, and he told me a few things about his introduction to the elders.

I enjoyed the whole night as we talked; I didn’t even want the call to end, but I had to so he could get some rest. We ended the call after telling each other goodnight.

And I slept off afterwards.

The next morning, during breakfast, Scott came back, and I was excited to see him. Luna asked him to freshen up and join us for breakfast, so he left for his room.

After a while, he joined us in the dining room, but we were almost done.

We all talked a little, and Luna left for her chambers; just Scott and I remained in the dining room.

“So how was your journey? Is it far from here? I asked as he put the
