Rachel’s POV

He paused and looked at me for a while.

"I know, and I will wait till you feel the same way." He was very close to me, and his eyes were on my lips some seconds after he went backwards.

"Have a good night's sleep." He said it politely and walked away.

I breathed down immediately after he left, hit my chest softly, and walked to my bed and sat.

How did this guy develop such feelings for me? I didn’t see this coming. I finally stood up and walked to my wardrobe to change. I wore a towel and walked into the bathroom. I was done; I wore my nightie and went to bed.

Mary called me, and we talked about a few things, and she asked if David was still infuriated by what happened earlier. I explained to her what happened an hour ago between David and me.

"But girl, I think David likes you now; why don’t you give it a try? I feel he is beginning to change; he is not so harsh like the way he was before." Mary tried to convince me.
