CHAPTER 17

CLARA

My holiday to Canada wasn't over yet.

Diego took me out shopping in one of the nicest store in the country, giving me the go ahead to get whatever I want.

I felt thrilled when I heard him, but needed to be sure he meant what he said.

"Are you sure I can take whatever I want?" I asked, taking hold of an expensive diamond necklace, just to mess with Diego.

Mr grumpy was busy attending to his phone until I called his attention and asked, "So, you don't mind if I take this?"

He looked at me and gave a smirk.

"Is that what you want?" He asked, gazing into my eyes.

I felt a flush across my cheek as I gently dropped the diamond necklace, saying, " I was just asking, since you said I can have whatever I want."

"Are you scared of me? Do you think it's a trick?" He asked, stepping closer to me.

I hate to admit this, but I like whenever he makes his approach at me.

I bet if we were alone, I would have melted right before him. But we're in public and I feel more like my old self.
