BLAIR’S POV

Actually, I had no plan. All I wanted to do was buy myself enough time to process everything Kieran had said to me.

We exchanged numbers and he let me go, just before my mother returned. He went straight into feigning being ill as soon as my mother arrived, which was the last thing I saw before slipping out.

Luckily, I arrived home to an almost empty house, or at least I sneaked straight to the attic to create the feeling of an empty house for myself.

‘What other secrets did my mother have?’

‘What other skeletons were there hidden in her cupboard?’

I fell right into the bed, and laid in that position, head up as I stared at the ceiling. I needed to come up with a plan, since I had already promised to have one that Kieran would love by the end of the day.

All through the day, I couldn’t quite come up with anything that looked like a plan, I was only drowning in curiosity all day.
