BLAIR’S POVI woke up with a broad smile on my face.The curtains were closed and Brian had a swell dinner by the side of my bed. BLAIR’S POV Ashley and Father’s call made our vacation device free, and when I finally learned to stop worrying, I was having a good time with Sebastine and Brian. “It literally cannot get any worse than it already is,” Sebastine said to me, his phrase being the very one to calm my heart down.He was right. Jane had literally showed up as the worse thing, there was not a single thing she was about to do that was going to show up as new or strange, or make the matters any worse. We were preparing for the trip to Winchester, to witness Stacy’s wedding and I was living happy. The wedding was tomorrow and we were packing up. “I really hope I do not forget anything,” I said, fitting all my luggage in my bag, three hours before my flight. “Why are you worried?” Brian asked. “You can literally travel without a single thing and get everything you need. We couldn’t find Sebastine anywhere and we were almost late for our flight, in fact, we barely made it on board. When we arrived, we alighted at the mansion and rested till the next day, which was Stacy’s wedding. I was a lot quieter and lived more in my thoughts than I was in reality. “You know you have to quit sulking right?” Brian said, walking into the room as I prepared. BLAIR’S POV “Dear God!” I exclaimed, as the folder popped up open with series of the crimes that Jane was involved in and roles she played. It turned out, Jane was a lot more than we thought and when Steven discovered, he began to try to pin her down, making his own investigations. Some of the content were phone conversations with her accomplices and a few of Steven’s conversations with them via mail. Jane definitely had trusted eyes everywhere in Vegas, and every one who tried to betray her, communicating with Steven, who was emailing with an anonymous account, Jane always had a way of silencing the person. This was something I could not deny, especially seeing how she treated Kieran. “Down town is a location in Vegas,” Brian said, as we went through the files. “Perhaps her headquarters or something,” Stacy said. BRIAN’S POV Sebastine was completely frozen to be hearing our discovery and now we had full team of five.Stacy thought that this was a case to be handled by ourselves and not handed to the police. “Trust me, I have dealt with high-level criminals like her, and people like her only go down to the grave.” Stacy said, as we sat down in our hotel room to discuss. Luckily, we had a free hotel room for Collins and Stacy, and even though it was not so much of a honeymoon anymore, I constantly hoped that the space was working for them. We didn’t arrive and run straight to Vegas, we had to strategize for a few days at Primm, and on the first night, it was a meeting with the team. “I couldn’t care any less if she made it out dead or alive,” Brian shared his few. BLAIR’S POV We followed Ronald into the warehouse building, all our hearts seeking answers, the curiosity on our faces could not be hidden.“As much as you don’t want to hear this, she’s innocent of the crimes,” Ronald said, “Well, most of it.”“Not to say that she doesn’t have a couple of dark secrets herself, but there is someone else.” He said. “This does not make any sense.” Brian said, after critically thinking. “What you are trying to tell us, is that Mrs. Williams has a lookalike, roaming the streets of Vegas, who somehow happened to be some sort of crime lord?” Brian translated everything Ronald had been explaining.
